#001 | Pipe Organ of the Leiria Cathedral
Leiria District

Inaugurated on October 4, 1997, the organ of Leiria Cathedral was built in Schiltach, Germany, by Georges Heintz. It has 35 stops distributed across three manual keyboards and a pedalboard, and it is entirely mechanical. A very important instrument for the city of Leiria due to its liturgical and pedagogical role, it was for a long time the only symphonic organ between Lisbon and Porto.
